Graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, 1966; a Master's in Business Administration in 1970 and a Juris Doctorate in 1974 from the University of Miami. He obtained a State of Florida General Contractor's License in 1971 and Board Certification in Real Estate Law, Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education in 1990; Martindale-Hubbell "Av" rated attorney.

Rolando Casais, Esq. (Of Counsel)

Mr. Casais was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. In 1998, Mr. Casais earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Miami Dade Community College. In 2001 he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Barry University in Miami, Florida and in 2004 he earned a Juris Doctor Degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, in Miami, Florida.

Mr. Casais is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Casais was previously an Associate Attorney at an immigration firm in Miami, Florida where he was responsible for preparing and submitting both family based and employment based immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions. He also specialized in preparing alien labor certifications filing under the PERM guidelines, applications for citizenship/naturalization, and providing defense to individuals in deportation proceedings.

Mr. Casais also worked as a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service in both Miami, Florida and Plantation, Florida. As a Revenue Agent Mr. Casais audited and examined individual and corporate tax returns to determine correct federal tax liabilities and ensure compliance with the technical requirements of federal tax laws.

In addition, Mr. Casais was an intern at the Economic Crimes Unit of the Florida State Attorney's Office, 11th Judicial Circuit, in Miami Florida. In this position Mr. Casais assisted in the investigation and preparation of white collar crime cases including mortgage fraud, organized fraud, theft crimes, bank fraud, credit card fraud, and identity theft. Mr. Casais was also a Law Clerk at a commercial litigation firm in Miami, Florida.

Mr. Casais is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Furthermore, he is the recipient of an "Outstanding Volunteer" award for his participation in the "Put Something Back" pro-bono project.

Moreover, in 2007 Mr. Casais was part of the legal team who filed suit in the Southern District of Florida against the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security to force decisions on residency applications that had been unreasonably delayed for an indefinite period of time. The District Court held that "no agency responsible for resolving matters of public interest should be free to let those matters pend in perpetuity." The Court remanded the case back to USCIS for adjudication. Jones v. Gonzales, June 21, 2007.
